Gallery Sklada and Phodar Foundation invite you to visit very intriguing, unusual and provocative collection of photographs of young but well established photographer Nathalie Daoust. The talented Canadian broadens horizons through use of alternative means of expression, 3D imaging and development of her own experimental approach and technology in analog processes.
Nathalie Daoust overcomes the boundary between reality and imaginary worlds. She spent several months in Alpha In – one of the largest “love hotels” in Tokyo, Japan and photographed the working there women surrounded by specialized equipment and dressed in extravagant regalia, selected according to their activity. 3D photographs introduce us to the interiors of the hotel. Challenge to everyone is to go beyond taboos, stereotypes and to explore the universal human desire to escape from reality… in Japanese style.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on June 1 (Wednesday) at 19:00 and the photographs can be examined until 8 June 2011.

Натали Дауст преодолява границата между реалността и въображаемите …светове. Тя прекарва няколко месеца в Alpha In – един от най-големите „хотели за любов“ в Токио, Япония като фотографира работещите жени, обградени от специализирано оборудване и облечени в екстравагантни костюми, подбрани според дейността им. 3D фотографии ни въвеждат в интериорите на хотела. Предизвикателство към всеки е да премине отвъд табутата, стереотипите и да изследва универсалното човешко желание за бягство от реалността… по японски.
Откриването на експозицията ще се състои на 1 Юни (сряда) от 19:00 часа като фотографиите ще могат да бъдат разгледани до 8 Юни 2011г.
